The thing that makes me happiest as a dog trainer is proactive pet parents. Lennie’s mom is a shining example of having all of her ducks in a row.

Adorable tiny Mr. Bailey was giving mom quite the stress initially. She was having a hard time with potty training and all-things-puppy, so I was happy to come to the rescue.

The first time I met Rex he was cautious and did not immediately want to approach me. I never force interactions with new dogs. I also never expect them to be particularly happy to meet me. I let them acclimate in their own time and toss treats to them from a distance.

This adorable ball of black and white fluff was about 3 months old the first time I met him.
His family was completely overwhelmed about where to start training their new family member.
